HORNY GOAT POWDER ΒΙΟ

Horny Goatweed is primarily used for its aphrodisiac properties.

Legend has it that a Chinese shepherd noticed playful behavior in his goat after grazing on this particular plant. The increased sexual activity of the goat led to a closer examination of this particular herb and thus its aphrodisiac activity was determined.

It is a traditional strong aphrodisiac that increases libido in men and women.

Because of its aphrodisiac properties it is also used in treatments for infertility, impotence and sperm rejection.

In addition, it has been proven that in some cases, the horny goat increases the levels of epinephrine, serotonin and dopamine together while simultaneously reducing the levels of cortisol. Lowering cortisol levels is also associated with increased muscle density and reduced bone wear and, therefore, overall improved health.

Epimedium has also been shown to restore thyroid and testosterone levels.

For many centuries, Chinese doctors have used many herbs from the Epimedium family for various therapeutic purposes, but its use in the West is mainly aimed at sexual enhancement.

Usage: A typical dose can vary from 1 - 1.5g per day, that is from 1/5 to 1/3 tsp. of dessert.
