Myrrh essential oil is particularly interesting. It contains many ingredients that are individually toxic and yet Myrrh is one of Nature's safest, mildest, sweetest essential oils. In the Bible (Esther 2:12) Esther does a daily myrrh massage for six months before her marriage to the king.

It is used in aromatherapy for problems of the oral cavity, such as ulcers, wounds, infections, to fight bronchitis and colds.
