Gooseberry LEAF

Gooseberry has a specific antiseptic and astringent effect on the mucous membranes of the urinary system. It soothes, tones and strengthens them. It is especially used when there is sand or ulceration in the kidney or bladder. It can be given to treat infections such as pyelitis and cystitis. It is useful in the treatment of sand (sammiasis) or kidney stones. Due to its great astringency, it is used in some forms of nocturnal enuresis. In the form of vaginal washes it is useful for ulcers and vaginal infections.
